Job Description

The Opportunity

This position is initially a six-month, temporary contract, with a good chance of permanent employment.

The Quick Fix Engineering (QFE) team responds to technical problems from customers that have been escalated from the technical support and systems engineering teams. In the Test Associate role, you will be supporting the QFE team by trying to re-create the issues that customers are having in a lab setting, and assisting in the resolution of the problems. Work effectively with product development teams, including developers, QA, support and technical writers
Set up and re-create issues from customers in the QFE lab, using virtual machines/devices as well as physical machines
Assist in the test and validation of client-server applications running over wired and wireless networks on Windows, Android, and/or iPhone platforms
Ensure all deliverables meet our high standards of quality
Advocate for product quality and elevate issues when appropriate
Other duties as assigned


A love for solving technical problems
Some technical experience, such as test, IT, etc preferred
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, IT or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
Networking experience preferred
Willing to learn new technologies
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Self-motivated, with an ability to work both independently and as a member of a collaborative team
Strong analytical ability
Excellent organizational skills
Strong written communication skills
