Job Description

Job description
The DB2 engine is made up of many complex components such as logging,
indexing, memory management, data management, catalog services,
runtime interpreter, query compiler, optimizer and utilities. As a
software developer, the candidate will be working on DB2 for Linux,
Unix and Windows in the West Coast Development team. You will design,
code and test future enhancements to this product. The candidate will also
be responsible for debug, analysis, and fixing functional, system
integration and regression defects. Strong communication and teamwork
skills are essential. The candidate will work closely with the team
here in Beaverton, Oregon but will also be part of the global DB2 LUW
team and will work with teams in Toronto, Canada, Sillicon Valley Lab
in California and various other labs around the world.


At least 6 months experience in Relational Database

At least 6 months experience in C/C++

At least 6 months experience in Teamwork and communication

English: Fluent


Master's Degree in Information Technology

At least 1 year experience in Relational Database

At least 2 years experience in C/C++

At least 1 year experience in Teamwork and communication
