Job Description

Position Description

Performs research and basic analysis of processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design. Assists customers to clarify basic requirements. Interprets and translates routine requirements into functional specifications. Assists in the development and execution of moderately complex tests to validate system functionality against specifications. Perform application software installation and configuration on servers used for development, test and production. Perform basic analysis of application performance issues, and assist in problem resolution.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Do you have classroom or work related experience with the administration of web applications (i.e. IIS, Apache)?

Do you have classroom or work related programming experience with Java, C, SQL, PL/SQL or Perl?

Do you have classroom or work related experience installing a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications on Windows 2008 using IIS and connecting the application to an Oracle or MS SQL database?

Do you have classroom or work related experience with any application, database and/or server performance monitoring tools?

Do you meet the criteria described in the 'Typical Education / Experience' section of this requisition?

Typical Education/Experience

Level 1 - Technical bachelor's degree. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

Level 2 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
