The ideal candidate for this position will have a demonstrated ability to apply a high level of technical acumen to help identify appropriate technical solutions for issue resolution. This individual will have the opportunity to work on a variety of environments including SAP 4.6 through ECC 6.0. A significant focus of the GSCS SAP Support Team is to continuously review trends to provide long term solutions for Platform Optimization. As part of the GSCS SAP Support Team, this individual would be expected to contribute technical best practices and ideas in support of this objective.

GSCS SAP Support Team is responsible for restoring normal service operation as quickly as possible, with minimum disruption to the business. Ensuring the best possible levels of service and availability are maintained is one of our primary goals. In addition, we conduct trend analysis to pinpoint opportunities to provide long term solutions eliminating repeating issues.

This is a (Bachelor's or Master's) opportunity.
The successful candidate MUST be pursuing their degree or have graduated within the past 12 months.
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology or Management Information Systems. Knowledge of Supply Chain and SAP a plus.
Job Responsibilities
- Participates as a member of development team.
- Performs basic analysis of functional or business requirements.
- Participates in code review.
- Prepares and executes Unit tests.
- Applies HP and 3rd party technologies to infrastructure and software solutions of moderate complexity.

Skills
- Application knowledge of SAP R/3 4.6 through ECC 6.0
- The ability to "figure things out" based on a high level of technical depth and breadth
- Basic understanding of modern software development methodologies (Object).
- Basic understanding of Software Test methodologies, test scripting and testing tools.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
