The ASR9000 (Viking) team seeks a motivated Experienced SW Engineer to design & develop a broad range of next generation features as part of its Dataplane Development Team. - The ASR9000 is positioned as Cisco's next generation Edge Router platform to enable customer solutions involving Carrier Ethernet, Mobility, Subscriber, and Video applications. The convergence of these solutions over one infrastructure is the engine of significant new innovation opportunities. - The foundational features of the ASR9000 are solidly in place. This is a ground floor opportunity to lead in the next phase of product growth and convergence in the service provider space. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to define feature designs with minimal supervision, leveraging technical knowledge and collaboration, to solve issues in a cross-functional organization.
