Role will work within the Application Support area of Applications Operations and will be responsible for technical maintenance and support of various applications, both regional and global. Will be working directly with executives, clients, support peers, project teams, executives and vendor partners.
Sr systems engineer experienced in both development and support of multiple applications, both simple, stand alone and complex integrated applications. Affluent knowledge in both current and emerging technologies and systems. Utilizes strong technical, interpersonal and communication skills to focus on
a) reverse engineering the code to gain subject matter expertise of the functional and technical aspects of the applications
b) coordinating, providing guidance and driving resolutions both within the team and with vendor support partners
c) create enhancements as needed or necessary, maintain and support existing applications
d) integrate with other groups in the company related to hosting, DBA support, server upgrades and/or development project teams
e) participate in the creation and upkeep of a technical support knowledge base.
f) Research and evaluate third party commercial technologies, products, software and hardware to determine potential synergies
f) Review existing processes and/or applications and present creative solutions or provide direction and make strategic decisions regarding application platform and architecture and support continuity and efficiencies
MS SQL 2005/8, Oracle, Windows
Biztalk 2006 and 2010
Minimum 5 years IT Development and Support experience
Minimum 2 years BizTalk developer and support experience
Web/Internet, Intranet and/or Extranet development and support skills
Music industry experience preferred, but not required
Must be able to lead, suggest resolutions weighed against calculated risks, communicate concisely
B.S. in Computer Science, business or related field
Equivalent Experience may be substituted for degree.
