Job Description

What you'll do

As a Mobile Application Software Manager ,
you will work with a team of engineers and designers to bring great products
and ecstatic user experiences to life in support of multiple product families.
The Software Product Manager is responsible for every phase of the software
development lifecycle, including requirements, managing the design and
development of the solution, as well as its documentation, release, and
delivery. You will team with Product
Managers to bring complete hardware and software solutions to market. The Software Product Manager will collaborate
cross-functionally across the organization to ensure that our software based
solutions continue to push the user experience state of the art in mobile
applications by ensuring consistent and highly engaging Belkin-wide app
experiences that utilize the best of what the mobile platform has to
offer.

How you'll do it

Help
define mobile application product strategy and roadmap.
Own and
manage the mobile application software product requirement and
specification.
Lead User Experience Designers, Visual Designers, and UI Prototype
Engineers to help visualize product ideas from concept to interactive
prototypes.
Lead design, feasibility, planning
& coordination of mobile application development
Collaborate
with business leaders, customers, product design and management teams
as well as engineering staff.
Jump in and get your
hands dirty when necessary, writing copy, testing, tweaking designs, and
doing whatever it takes to get the job done.
Understand and communicate software
use cases with attention towards being proactive in identifying and
detailing out edge case specifications.

Communicate, with crystal clarity, in whatever
forms as necessary to convey not only function but also the emotion that
experiencing the app should evoke.

What you'll need

2+ years of prior iOS and/or Android
product management/lead experience in mobile platform development environments
absolutely necessary
5+ years of experience in software development
Four-year college degree in Computer Science highly
preferred
Well
versed in Agile development methodologies & it's principles
Past
experience as a Product Owner in SCRUM teams
Knowledge with the iOS /Android SDK's, their libraries, app
store/marketplace submission in's and out's, tips and tricks, etc.
Proven experience with management of
software development and the full SDLC of mobile apps and mobile app
enhanced products.
Great
communication skills both written as well as verbal required

What you've done

Exceptional
portfolio of widely used consumer facing mobile applications that
demonstrates your grasp of the mobile app user experience.
Passion
for researching new trends and technologies in the mobile platform space
Experience
designing apps that meet accessibility standards
Experience
designing globalized mobile apps that work smoothly in multiple languages
and other localization requirements
