Participate as a member of a dynamic, high-profile software development team responsible for delivering engineering and release work-flow automation and web-front end solutions supporting the High-Volume Print Engine & Discovery product lines. As a member of this team, the candidate will be involved in all aspects of the agile software development process (i.e. requirement & design iterations, test driven development, pair-programming, Scrum, and customer support).
The candidate will be responsible for assisting in developing process automation of the Software Configuration Management (SCM) work-flow, provide web-based solutions for end-customers to access and change release data, and provide integration of various SCM tools to optimize program effectiveness. The candidate will be tasked to programmatically implement SCM work-flows and redesign existing web-pages/portals to provide "one-stop" access to organizational data. Consolidation of program data storage locations may be necessary to optimize data accessibility and enforce necessary access controls. Technical writing capability will be necessary to develop Administration and User's manuals for training and sustained maintenance.
- BS/MS in CS or CE
- Experience with MS Access, SQL, Visual Basic, C, C , Java, ASP, .NET, PSP, HTML, Perl, Python, Ruby
- Build tools Make, Jenkins, Hudson
- Linux and Windows OS literate
- SCM experience a plus
- Familiar with agile software principles (Product/Sprint Backlog, Scrum, pair-programming, TDD) and OOA/OOD methodologies
- Good written and verbal skills
- Self motivated and possess the ability to be productive in a dynamic team environment
