Miscellaneous Languages Software Programmer III
' Undergraduate, Graduate or Post-Graduate College Degree ' Information/Computer Technology or related field is required.
' 10+ years experience in Information/Computer Technology is required; must include 10+ years demonstrated applications design & development experience
' Five or more years in ASP .NET programming using MS Visual C#, & MS SQL Server (2005 or greater) or Oracle (8i or greater) is required.
' Demonstrated experience with Visual Studio (2008 or greater) & MS Team Foundation Services is required.
' Demonstrated experience performing analysis, design, development, & testing project tasks, & analysis & resolution of maintenance issues is required.
' MS Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) or MS Certified IT Professional (MCITP) is preferred.
' Must be proficient in ASP, HTML, CSS, & XML.
' Must be proficient in MS Visual Studio 2008 or greater.
' Must be proficient in graphical user interface design & usability.
' Must be proficient in developing well-tuned, complex SQL & stored procedures for Oracle or SQL Server.
' Strong in oral & written communications.
' Knowledge of the utility industry, specifically billing.
' Experience with custom .NET web development.
' Knowledge of system performance & tuning.
' Experience with a version control system, preferably MS Team Foundation Server (TFS).
' Experience with Crystal Reports XI or 2008.
' Knowledge of database design & modeling.
' Experience with Agile / Scrum teams
' Experience with all phases of SDLC including maintenance
' Possess technical documentation & communication skills sufficient to perform knowledge transfer to fellow programmers once the application is completed & deployed to production.
' Ability to interface with the customers to understand their processes & requirements & be able to translate a set of requirements into computer source code using the software tools provided on a Windows platform.
