A Senior Software Engineer is a skilled professional focused on the design and delivery of software.  Drawing from your extensive experience with .net/C#, WCF, WinForms/WPF and SQL Server, you will have a key role in designing and developing products.

Software Engineer, Senior

Primary responsibilities:

  • Closely work with business stakeholders to understand business requirements
  • Come up with technical design based on business requirements and clearly communicate the design to business stakeholders and the development team.
  • Develop and test software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Support, troubleshoot and resolve post deployment production issues.
  • Create appropriate level of documentation both within the code and through external documents tailored toward specific departments including training, support, and operations.
  • Continually update technical knowledge and skills through self-study and training courses
  • Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • 5 or more years software development experience
  • Experience in developing applications using WCF, SOA
  • Experience with .NET UI platforms (WPF)
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases and T-SQL
  • Strong object oriented knowledge including designs, patterns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience with SCRUM or other iterative development process
  • Experience with Microsoft SSRS, SSIS and/or SSAS
  • Education required:

  • B.S. degree in computer science or similar major
