A Software Engineer is required to design and develop test software for testing Display systems designed by Rockwell Collins. This candidate will be tasked to develop drivers, develop codes to establish communication with prime software, develop test functions and test sequences, record and store test results, and will perform HW/SW integration.
Candidate must be willing to work in a team environment, interface with all aspect of engineering and Operations on a regular basis, and must be able to apply program performance tracking measures. Experience with understanding of Hardware functionality is desirable. He or she must have a positive work ethic, and demonstrate a sense of urgency in regards to schedule and commitment. Candidates will also be responsible for the evaluation and preparation of engineering change orders and other test equipment specific documentation. Experience in VHDL, Ethernet, C#, C-Sharp, Lab View, Lab Windows, and IEEE-488 is desirable. Excellent verbal, written communication skills & interpersonal skills are imperative.
This job requires an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Candidates with 90% credentials completed and are expecting their degree this year will also be considered. The candidate must have an understanding and usage experience of Microsoft Office tools including Micro Soft Project.Bachelor's degree in applicable engineering or science field, and eight years of related experience, or, in the absence of a bachelor's degree,
fourteen years of related experience.
