Designs and develops tests and test requirements for products, systems, software and/or related components and equipment.
1. Designs and develops tests and test requirements for products, systems, software and/or related components and equipment.
2. Troubleshoots problems and documents findings of tests.
3. Defines testing processes and ensures tests adhere to established standards.
4. May participate in quality assurance plan development.
5. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
6. Participates in special projects as required.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
2-5 years of related experience in testing, engineering or quality assurance.
Knowledge of Web testing techniques and best practices
Working knowledge on automated testing framework implementation and maintenance
Test data generation and maintenance experience
Good organizational, interpersonal, and analytic faculties
Team player who works well with customers and colleagues at all levels
High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Knowledge of Web Services, XML, SQL
Experience developing automated test suites using Selenium, Quick Test Pro or other automated testing tools
