Summer Internship – Tech IV, Electrical Engineer (S13-034)
In this position, you will perform a variety of duties to support the engineering staff at Beaver Plant. Function in a capacity to learn various aspects of an Electrical Engineering position, with an emphasis in Power Engineering or Control Systems. Duration of employment will be from June to September. This is a part-time summer position.

Top candidates will have:

Must be working toward a degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with an emphasis in Power Engineering or Control Systems.

Proficiency in various basic software tools (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access)

Proficiency in problem solving and analysis.

Must be able to read and understand plant electrical drawings (eg. schematics, connection drawings, control function diagrams)

To be eligible for PGE’s 2013 Summer Program, you must be at least 18 years old as of June 1, 2013 and have met one of the following criteria:

-A current college student who is returning to college in the fall of 2013 as a full-time student

-A recent 2012-2013 college graduate

This is a paid internship and the successful candidate will work full time from May or June 2013 thru September 2013.
