Job Description

This is a great opportunity to work with technology that is central to what makes us successful. This person would be responsible for managing IS&T projects within our company.

We are looking for an Associate Program Manager (PM) to join our IS&T team in our headquarter office in Fremont, CA. Currently our corporate headquarters are in Foster City, CA - we will be moving to our new corporate headquarters in Fremont, CA in October 2013.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Research and document FAQs and Tech Notes, (i.e. related to customer support, field issues, competitive analysis, cost reduction, product updates, feature requests, etc.).
Interface and work effectively and proactively with all cross-functional groups including IS&T, engineering, technical services, marketing, sales, manufacturing, quality assurance, product planning, and technical documentation.
Ability to develop and lead a project team that is critical to the success of EFI.

Education and Experience Requirements

1 – 3 years of managing projects experience
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal/communication/negotiation skills to coordinate and drive a project to successful completion
Proven track record of managing and successfully completing multiple projects
Basic understanding and execution of software development process

Detail-oriented and have a strong ability to analyze business, functional and technical requirements and translate these into user friendly communications
Effective time management and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and complete tasks correctly, thoroughly, efficiently, on-time and independently

Ability to learn new applications/systems quickly
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Business or related field or relevant experience

Desired Skills:

Experience managing projects using Agile methodologies
Self-starter capable of working through complex assignments by performing investigations into subject matter

Technical capacity to understand complex software engineering issues
Ability to adapt to and manage change
