Our SDN Engineering Summer Intern position is a unique, hands-on development position that combines your education and hands-on OOD development skills to participate in the future of what will be the next generation of networking. HP's product development team and product test resides in Roseville, CA.
The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of networking and experience creating small programs in Java. A desire to interact with multiple business leaders both locally and globally is required.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Has technical knowledge of networking to support the design and scope deliverables.
Good communication skills - including documentation skills
Technical aptitude to solve technical problems
Creative, yet pragmatic approach in how to build technical solutions to problems
Research technical blogs for social media and brief external technical bloggers on relevent industry technology
Must like programming in Java with a desire to write code in Python
Education and Experience Required:
3rd or 4th Year of University completed - prefer degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar degree
