Description: Lecturer in the Department of Game Software Design and Production, DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore. We expect to make an appointment at Lecturer level, although more senior candidates will also be considered.
Location: Singapore campus
Starting Date: April or August 2012
Qualifications: Bachelor or higher degree. Disciplines like Art, Science or Engineering involving interactions between computer science and interactive digital entertainment are preferred.
Previous industry experience in game and/or level design is required.
A commitment to teaching excellence and scholarship is expected.
Responsibilities: Teaching a combination of game design related courses within the undergraduate Game Design programs according to the candidates own interests and the School needs.
Other responsibilities include academic advising, undergraduate research advising, curriculum development, institutional service and appropriate scholarly activity.
Salary: Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and education.

About DIGIPEN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
Founded in 1994, the Digipen Institute of Technology trains future computer and video game developers and graphic artists. The main campus is located in Redmond, Washington, and Omaha traveled there this week and toured the facility. She'll broadcast the recording of that tour.
