To provide complete testing of systems by creating or using current test plans, ensuring a complete system is used to simulate the full range of the product. Documenting all results and processes while providing reports on the software's functionality. Maintaining of all test hardware and guarantee test software is up to date. Responsible for system test requirements, design test plans, recording results and providing information about the functionality, efficiency and usage of a product. Conduct testing to include all supported software operating systems and all hardware to provide complete overview of the software being tested. Maintain and ensure the functionality of all system hardware and software. Provide effective reports and documentation of all processes, hardware systems and testing methodology. Work closely with systems and software development staff to determine, create and implement test requirements, test environments (hardware and software) and expected test results. Provide performance profiling and analysis of software being tested. Provide historical analysis of a products life cycle
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in Electrical engineering a plus. Deep understanding and skills MS Word. Document creation and presentation. Virtual software Images software Automated Testing software Windows Operating systems, 2003 and 2008 Windows Server, Windows XP and Windows 7 Basic understanding and skills MS Excel. Basic math presentation and graphing as needed. Visio. Being able to create basic data and block diagrams. Project. Being able to create a basic project to show future and current work load and projects. Power Point. Be able to create presentation about data and work completed. Web site creation, principles and functionality. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Entry level understanding and skills Programming languages C#. Understanding of how programs work and function Ability to create simple programs or classes in a programming language. Basic knowledge of Visual Basic and/or Jscript scripting languages.
