SummaryThe Lead QA owns the responsibility for the creation and execution of software test plans that are executed by the scrum team. This individual is responsible for ensuring deliverables under test meet specifications, quality objectives, and customer expectations. Other responsibilities include executing on team retrospective items, removing team impediments, identifying and escalating testing risks, overseeing test execution, test schedule and providing feedback on software requirements. This individual will work closely with teams and managers to establish process and procedures that improve the quality of software deliverables. The Lead QA will evaluate test team members work and escalate individual performance issues to management. ResponsibilitiesManage the teams responsible for Website, Mobile , Web services and back office application testingCoordinate the activities of an assigned team of full-time and contract developersHandle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, while effectively managing priorities and communicating progressReview and validate test strategies and test objectives produced by the teamEnsure test plans and test cases developed by team members provide necessary test coverage Manage test environments and resources to support team commitments and project schedulesEnsure processes (e.g. SDLC, security, etc) are followed and adhered toDirect test strategies and approaches, including automated testingAssist teams in removing impedimentsIdentify risks, provided impact analysis, and assist in the development of mitigation strategiesProvide production technical support for deployed applicationsDevelop performance test approaches in support of production capacity planningProvide feedback to QA team members and help with mentoring, evaluation, and development of QA staffDrive department process improvements and advocate for adherenceResponsible for team management related activities like recruiting, training, performance evaluation etc., for team membersManage employee and organizational escalations when they occurImplement measurements, statistics, and controls that aid in the inspection of quality Qualifications6+ years QA experience1-2 years of experience leading a small to medium size team Experience in coordinating large, complex integrated testing effortsExperience working with Agile development methodologiesExcellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with customers (internal and external)Strong knowledge of systems and software developmentDemonstrated success managing offsite test teamsDemonstrated knowledge of quality principles and test methodologies including test automationEducation and/or Certifications:Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience Why join the team?We believe there's an investor in everyone, and we make investing in the stock market possible for anyone.
