Job Description:


Perform a wide variety of technical tasks in support of test and repair operations on electronic and RF/microwave components and subsystems.  Perform a wide variety of non-standard tasks in the area of setting up test apparatus, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and modifying field returns and engineering development units.


Required Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly documents, parts lists and test procedures.
  • General knowledge of analog/digital circuit theory.
Knowledge of general purpose test equipment such as DMM, oscilloscope, frequency counter, network analyzer, power meter, signal generators.
  • Good organizational skills, communication skills, attention to detail, multitasking.
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and able to prioritize work schedule and workload.
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment with strict performance standards and accountability.
  • Desired Skills:

    • Electronic circuit-level and component-level troubleshooting skills.
    • Hand soldering and assembling of electronic components skills.
    • Good PC skills and working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) are highly desired.
    • Previous experience in the electronics troubleshooting, test or repair.


    Required Education (including Major):

    • Junior or senior level college student currently obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
