Job Description


Position: Java/JBOSS Developer
Location: Burlington, Masschusetts

Raytheon Techncial Services looking for a Software Tools Developer to support our Air Traffic Control Optimum Training Solution (ATCOTS) Program. This position will be responsibile for providing database and programming support related to activities associated with projects under the Government Logistics Software Tools organization. Candidate will be responsible for assisting in tasks related to software design, development and implementation utilizing JAVA and BIRT. Candidate will be responsible for providing development and maintenance support within a JAVA and JBOSS environment in support of the Air Traffic Control Optimum Training Solution (ATCOTS) Program.

Required Experience, Skills and/or Knowledge:
- received your degree within the last 18 months
- Must have knowledge of ORACLE or similar relational database knowledge, as well as an understanding of relational database design concepts.
- Must have working knowledge of JAVA and associated software design concepts.
- Candidate must have good communication skills and work well under technical direction.

Desired Experience, Skills and/or Knowledge:
- Knowledge of working with Java within a JBOSS environment would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of working with Java utilizing the SEAM framework would be ideal.

Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or similar scientific study within the last 18 months.
