Job Description

Help design and build the future of business analytics. APT's industry leading Software-as-a-Service application blends analytics and computer science to solve multi-million-dollar business questions. Through partnering with many Fortune 500 companies, we're constantly evolving our software to tackle new business challenges on varied datasets through unique analytic solutions. We're seeking talented individuals with quantitative backgrounds who want to help build tools that will define the future of business analytics! APT's Associate Product Managers (APM's) have primary responsibility for driving the evolution of our software. They are a highly creative, entrepreneurial, self-directed group of individuals equally comfortable with the business decision making, analytics, and technology. APM's are involved in all aspects of product development from defining product strategy to development and evangelism. How We Work: In short, we work with everybody. APMs' reach into all parts of APT and its customers' organizations to understand the highest profile analytic challenges facing Fortune 500 companies today. We're responsible for pioneering innovative analytics and product improvements to address these challenges. We work very closely with small teams of engineers to ensure that our software is of the highest quality with a highly intuitive user experience focused first on driving significant value for APT's clients (no small task given the complexity of our analytic approach). In addition to playing a large role in determining what we are going to build, APM's spend a significant amount of time "getting the word out" - evangelizing the value our product provides with APT's customers, delivery teams, and sales / marketing staff. Why We're Unique: Just ask the Harvard Business Review. APT is leading a step change in how the enterprise makes fact based decisions. APM's are at the core of this step change. We are intimately familiar with the challenges facing companies across a variety of verticals and business areas and the complex analytics required to solve them. We are equally familiar with the challenges of building great software delivered as a service with cutting edge technology. In addition to these two exciting problem domains, we also play a huge role in shaping the growth of our rapidly growing company. What more could you ask for!?

Ideal Candidate Qualifications: - Highly motivated, self directed, flexible professional who thrives on small project teams - A passion for technology and innovation - Outstanding communication and organizational skills - Demonstrated analytical / quantitative skills - Superior academic record at a leading national university (mathematics, quantitative science, computer science or economics backgrounds preferred) ***RESUME, COVER LETTER & TRANSCRIPTS are REQUIRED TO APPLY
