| Recognizing the importance of ongoing education and research opportunities in emergency nursing, ENA established the Foundation in 1991. The purpose of the Foundation is to enhance emergency health services available to the public through education and research. This scholarship is awarded to a nurse (RN, LPN or LVN) who is pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. This scholarship is named in memory of Vickie Lofton, treasured ENA employee and good friend of the ENA Foundation.
