| Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania grants scholarships annually to Pennsylvania residents who are studying nursing at the basic or advanced level and intend to practice in the state. Regardless of the type of nursing program, all candidates accepted into or presently enrolled in accredited nursing programs in Pennsylvania may apply. Scholarships are awarded to students who enter professional nursing programs, practical nursing programs, and advanced degree programs. Recipients are chosen by a committee of nurses and consumers from all parts of the Commonwealth. The awards are based on merit, involvement in community service, and leadership potential. Award Application Submission: January 15 - April 15 of each year.... |
