Software Engineering Intern Organization Name: MTS Systems Corporation No of Openings: 2 Work Schedule: Mon-Fri Hours per Week: 40 Compensation Details: 14 weeks Employment Start Date: Summer 2010 Employment End Date: Summer 2010 Job Description: A summer software engineering intern position is available for a student in either Electrical Engineering with a software focus, Computer Engineering or Computer Science programs. 14 week program -- May to September 2010. Special housing program for eligible students. Duties will include: Work with a team of software engineers designing, implementing and testing PC based appliaction software for the automotive or materials testing markets. These software applications are used by our customers to provide them with engineering data that is used to analyze, improve and validate designs. Opportunity to work under close supervision of a lead software engineer in a team environment. Qualifications: Candidate must have at least a Junior standing in one of the following accredited majors - Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science Minimum GPA 3.0 desired Team oriented individual with strong written and verbal communication skills Strong foundation in C#, C++ or Visual Basic programming languages Experience in Microsoft software development tools desired Application Instructions: www.mts.com |
