How to pinpoint your posting efforts and message to specific audiences at college campuses via AfterCollege
If you are new to AfterCollege, it may help put our service in perspective if you think of it in these simple terms: Unlike large broad job boards, we are a big network (if not the biggest) of small niche career networks, where each career network contains jobs, internships, and an alumni network specific to members of an academic department and student association at a college or university.
The Benefit of going Niche
Being able to target your jobs or advertisements to your target audience saves you time and money. It saves you time by not having to sift through large pools of non-relevant candidates received from large job boards. You may receive less applicants to your jobs when posting on niche sites, but the applicants will be more relevant and your hit rate will be higher. It saves you money because your investment will generate better candidates and better hires, which means a better return on investment than using traditional broad sites.
Two ways to Post on AfterCollege
1. One posting - unlimited targeting
The easiest way to start posting is to go to AfterCollege and post a job. Check our current rates for a 30-day posting credit. For one flat posting rate, you can advertise a job and forward it to any academic department or student group on AfterCollege.

Note: If you simply want to post and don’t know where to target your posting, AfterCollege will automatically target your jobs to relevant groups and departments based on the posting’s title, keywords, location and job type (this is part of our patent).
Your cost per department/group:
For example, if you bought a posting credit for $149 and posted your job or internship to 50 physical therapy programs, your cost to post to these physical therapy programs is $3.00 per program.
If you bought a posting credit for $99 (cost of a credit when you buy 21+ credits) and posted a job to 200 diversity engineering groups on AfterCollege, your cost per group is 50 cents.
2. Post only to specific departments and groups
You can also post to individual student associations or academic departments on AfterCollege for $45 per group (some groups, such as state student nursing associations, have different rates).
Your cost per department/group:
If you post to a single department or group, the cost is $45 per group. But as a courtesy, we give you 2 extra groups at no additional charge, and you can post to additional groups for $15 each. Your cost would end up being $15 per group.
How to post to individual groups or departments
1) Go to AfterCollege (skip this step and the next one if you’re already on the academic department or group web site that has an AfterCollege career network) and go to the state where your school or association of interest is located

2) Select a school of interest and the academic department or student association where you intend to post

3) Click on the “Post Jobs and Internships” button to see the rate and to advertise your opportunity
