The AfterCollege Q&A Forum

By Nick Fitzpatrick on June 22, 2009

AfterCollege is pleased to introduce “Answers”! This new feature allows you network with other like minded individuals by asking alumni, peers and faculty that are part of your career network for practical advice and real word insights.  If you’re a program graduate, Answers provides an opportunity to stay connected to your alma mater and share your knowledge and expertise with current students.

But what questions should you ask? Below are some suggestions:

• What city holds the best job prospects for graduates of my program?
• What should I look for when evaluating internship opportunities?
• What are some of the most difficult interview questions you have been asked?
• What types of questions should I be prepared to ask during a job interview?
• What is the best way to reject a job offer?
• How should I prepare to attend a career fair?

Questions that allow other members to share their knowledge, past experience or expertise are useful and will be welcome by other members.  Questions which simply ask for an introduction or contacts are likely to produce fewer answers, and those that are not career related may be flagged as inappropriate by other users and then removed.

To get started, please find your Career Network at your school here. To get to the Q&A section, click on the Answers tab at the top!
