disABLEDperson, Inc., since 2002 a 501 (c) (3) non-profit public foundation and tax exempt organization under section 509 (a) (1) and 170 (b) (1) (A) (vi), a NISH NPO Affiliate has a mission to reduce the extremely high unemployment rate amongst the disabled by providing as a public service our online recruitment.  A primary goal associated with this mission is to connect individuals and veterans with disabilities with employers who are proactive in hiring them.  We accomplish this goal through the disABILITY job matching system.  Our job portals are www.disABLEDperson.com and www.JOFDAV.com (Job Opportunities for Disabled American Veterans)


disABLEDperson Inc. through its web portals disABLEDperson.com and JOFDAV.com is a branded name in the disabled community in the U.S. We are pleased and honored to partner with AfterCollege Inc. on our newest system www.disABLEDpersonGrads.com to bring jobs to qualified skilled college students and recent graduates with disabilities.


disABLEDperson Inc. is also known for its fall and spring national scholarship competitions for college students with disabilities. Our competitions are broadcasted on FastWeb.com, FindTuition.com, Peterson’s Scholarship Review just to name a few. Disability Student Services Departments of universities all across the U.S, post our competitions on the web portals.


disABLEDperson Inc. also holds Virtual Online Job Fair for College Students Transitioning from School to Work. To date, we have held fairs in 14 fairs in 12 states. For our fairs, we work with the U.S. National Labor Exchange and have the support the U.S. Office of Disability Employment Policy as well as the U.S. Workforce Development Board
