Critical Need Language Scholarship Fund
AfterCollege is pleased to offer a scholarshipsthis year for students with language proficiency in a critical need language. The scholarship will be in the amount of $500.
The deadlines for 2009 is June 30.
1 - $500 Scholarships
Eligibility for Student Scholarship:
• Applicants must currently be enrolled in a degree granting program at the undergraduate or graduate degree level
• Must show language proficiency in one of the following: Arabic, Bangla/Bengali, Farsi, Hindi, Pashto, Punjabi, Turkish, Urdu
• Winner must be able to demonstrate language proficiency in one of the aforementioned languages
• Have and carry a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Students in all disciplines are encouraged to apply, including engineering, business, science, health care, liberal arts, etc.
• Must be a full-time student while under the scholarship
The recipients of the scholarship will be determined by the AfterCollege Critical Need Language Scholarship Committee and will be announced the month following the scholarship deadline.
