Continued Growth at AfterCollege Fuels Executive Appointments, New Office Space

San Francisco , CA – May 9th, 2006 - AfterCollege, Inc. (http://www.aftercollege.com), the nation’s largest career network specializing in recruitment at the college level, today announced the company has appointed Brian Heifferon to the position of Vice President of Business Development and Ira Dorf as a member of the Board of Directors. AfterCollege has also moved corporate headquarters to a larger location in downtown San Francisco.

Brian Heifferon has been promoted to Vice President of Business Development from Director of Business Development. In this expanded role, Brian is responsible for general oversight and strategic initiatives relating to revenue generation, new products, business development and client accounts. A member of the founding group at AfterCollege, Brian brings more than 5 years of industry experience to his new role. Brian graduated from Stanford University where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. While at Stanford, Brian was captain of the varsity men’s water polo team, Academic All-American and recognized as the Stanford Conference Male Athlete of the Year in 1999.
Ira Dorf had been on AfterCollege’s Board of Advisors and is now a Member of AfterCollege’s Board of Directors. Dorf has more than 30 years of experience in all phases and facets of Human Resource Management, including executive staffing, compensation and benefits, management development, succession planning, employee relations, executive coaching and counseling, and organizational structuring and development. Dorf spent his early years with ITT Corporation, directing each of the major functions of Human Resources Management in turn, and then moving into the role of Director of Human Resources for ITT Telecommunications Corporation, a worldwide company with revenues of more than $6 billion and more than 100,000 employees. He continued this role after the sale of the business to Alcatel of France. Later in his career, Dorf was VP of Human Resources for Informix Software. In this role, he served as a key advisor to the CEO.
