| Program Manager Ensure the optimum mix of cost, schedule, performance, and system supportability throughout the life cycle (design, development, testing and evaluation, production and disposition) of the program. Analyze alternative problem solutions and how to present a case defending a recommended solution. Deliver the capability necessary to meet stated mission performance and schedule requirements. The responsibility of managing one or more acquisition programs may be required. Ability to complete Basis of Estimate, working planning, work breakdown structure and work packages. Responsibilities include the management and analysis of program costs, schedules, and performance; ensuring prompt, proper execution and accounting for all contractual fiscal transactions and deliverables; managing outlays; and maintaining a portfolio of all associated technical tasks. An understanding of the Earned Value Management System and Risk Management is essential. The applicant¿s responsibility will also include overseeing the day-to-day operations and set objectives for the work center and/or program; manage engineering activities (design, development, fabrication, installation, modification, analysis of systems or components); resolve Program technical issues (hardware, software, equipment); and have the ability to demonstrate awareness of Technology trends (current and future technological products and tools). |
| - Three or more years of experience in Program Management - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Industrial Technology - DAWIA Level II Certification in Program Management A security clearance must be granted prior to employment and you will be required to undergo extensive pre-employment processing. This includes: aptitude testing, an interview with a psychologist, a security interview conducted with the aid of a polygraph, and a personnel interview. The final stage of the processing will be the successful completion of a background investigation. |
