Overview
Over 100 years ago, MediCorp Health System began as an eight-room hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Today, it has evolved into a not-for-profit regional system of 28 health care facilities and wellness services. Our Board of Trustees is made up of community leaders who serve in a volunteer capacity to guide our direction. MediCorp has many programs that provide services to those who are less fortunate, those who are interested in improving their health, and those at high risk for health problems.

MediCorp Health System exists to improve the health status of all people within our community. We do this by expanding our services beyond the hospital beds of Mary Washington Hospital to furnish what the community needs and wants.
