The Interventional Radiology Department at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, home to world-renowned Barrow Neurological Institute, plays a critical role within its state-of-the-art Radiology Center of Excellence. Working with a patient population from pediatrics to adults, our team of exceptional professionals perform a variety of procedures based on patient acuity and medical history. This variety allows for our professionals to experience different cases every day, experiencing patients with a variety of diagnosis; neuro, cardiac, pulmonary, and general medicine. From routine interventional procedures to 'cutting edge' procedures that are not typically offered at other facilities (eg. Neurosurgical cases such as aneurysm coiling and gluing, and tumor ablation procedures) this dynamic team enhances patient satisfaction each and every day, receives specialized training and has the ability to function with a great deal of autonomy and independence. JOIN US NOW as we are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to work in a very team focused environment, performing most procedures with technologist, physicians, and often anesthesiologists. Positions are available for our day shifts for Registered Nurses to coordinate, supervise and implement patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge and evidence-based practice. The Registered Nurse is expected to practice autonomously, consistent with professional standards, Nurse Practice Act and hospital job description.

REQUIREMENTS:
AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State (please refer to www.ncsbn.org for complete listing of Compact States)
ACLS and PALS certification
2 + years of Radiology, Critical Care or Emergency Department experience required.
This position requires weekend and after shift call. (Department and staff are large enough that the call rotation frequency is found to be very manageable by staff.)
