Working for St. John's Regional Medical Center In 1912, community leaders established St. John's Regional Medical Center to meet the needs of the thousands of residents who had settled on the Oxnard plains. The hospital grew from a six-room wooden structure to a 266-bed modern healthcare center supplemented by a 23-bed acute rehabilitation center. With our partner facility, nearby St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital, we employ 1,800 people and count 250 active medical staff. St. John's is proud to offer specialized centers for treating heart, cancer, and Parkinson's disease patients, as well as an array of other valuable services.
